This is the third year I have had presenters come in to St Vincent Ferrer School to present on drug abuse prevention. The speakers have been absolutely amazing! This year Mr. Luke shared his personal life story and journey. His background and upbringing were a perfect fit for our students. The students really connected with him and were so appreciative of his honesty and the important information he shared regarding drug abuse and consequences. He was so patient with the students, and answered all of their questions. Teachers also commented on how they loved how he shared how he came to know Jesus in a very personal way. We will pray for his continued sobriety and the future talks that he does. Very impactful!

I had the privilege of being a presenter at LSIS for 8 months while living in Florida. It was an extremely rewarding commitment to engage all ages about my past and to help educate schools about the reality of peer pressures and mental illnesses that surround our world. I always loved to speak on mentorship and its importance in my life, my goal is always to be an example in my actions and words so that my message was remembered.
