To get this box into the hands of families, we launched our first online store.
Any family with children in a Palm Beach County public school was eligible to place an order, at
no cost and with free shipping, thanks to our funders, the Health Council
of South East Florida and the Florida Department of Health.

The family box is a subscription-like package that includes:
- a gift card for a ready-to-serve family meal;
- research-informed substance abuse prevention materials;
- engaging activities for enhancing communication between children and primary caregivers about a challenging and complex topic; and
- a resource guide for local community support and resources.
By utilizing the materials and activities in the Family Box, parents and caregivers are equipped to promote open and supportive conversation around substance abuse, reduce punitive conversation or lecturing, and encourage children to share their experiences to receive deeper support from their primary caregiver.
